We have an LP vented convection wall furnace in our basement with thermopile so when electric fails because of ice, snow and wind storms we can still heat the whole house comfortably. Another benefit, can back up to it pretending it is an old wood stove without cutting wood. Wouldn't be without one.I have a LP fires forced air unit. It is basically just a box that hangs in the corner. Its pretty cheap, I also keep it about 40 or 45 degrees and bump it up to 60 when I'm working in it. It heats the place up in 10 minutes and its a 28x30 shop.
