Baseboard heat is very inefficient and would avoid if possible. A small standalone heating air conditioning unit might be the ticket. A lot of people use these units when adding sunrooms. Numerous company's make them such as Mitsubishi

I did not know where but several years ago when we were looking to have a sunroom built they quoted one of these units. I am out of town or I would have looked it up

Nice project. Looks very good.

Curious about the footings for the walls. Do you have footings under the slab or did you pour the walls on top of the slab. How thick is your slab?

I poured the Knee walls on top of the slab, used rebar and sealed the joints with tar, I also used 2 Inch rigid insulation around the outside of the Knee walls.I would have liked to have put the knee walls in first and then pour the slab, but some how didn't think about it again in till all the forms were set and concrete was on it's way.

Do You think the radiant will push up enough and heat the upstairs also?

Given that the radiant floor heat is running off of some kind of boiler system to heat the liquids couldn't you run piping upstairs to baseboard radiators that use the same type of liquid. This is more a question than a suggestion. We don't use much radiant heat here in the South.

Nice looking project ,,I was wondering why you couldn't use the hot water for your heating on the loft. Just buy a few 10' baseboard heaters on there own thermostat.

I may be able to I am not sure, I thought base board needed the water to be hotter, I was planning on using a Hot Water heater to heat radiant would that heat it enough to use baseboard?
