Ok does anybody out there know where in Canada I might be able to find a 48-60 inch Garden hiller/bedder? I know I have seen them on eBay and everythingsattachments.com here is a link to an eBay seller. 48" Garden Bedder Potato w 14" Disc Disk Hiller w 4" Furrow Plow Point USA | eBay. This is all I am looking at, shipping customs and brokerage fees almost double the cost. I tried 2 local tractor dealers and they do not have anything.

I find it hard to believe it is so hard to find a Canadian seller/distributer.

Any advice is appreciated. I live in Halifax Nova Scotia.

Howdy neighbour, I live in Moncton (Riverview) NB & own a 1980 Kubota B7100 that I keep at our cottage & use for gardening, among other things. I have built 2 bedder/hiller or horse hoes as the old timers called them. The first was built from an old horse drawn set that I found at a dump site & salvaged all the metal pieces. The 2nd I built using discs from an old Ferguson disc harrow. Both were built to attach to my 3 point trailer mover/skidding attachment, kind of like a sleeve hitch. Both work equally well (on my Kubota & my '47 Ford 8N) for making my garden rows & hilling up my potatoes. Not real hard to build or have built if you can scrounge up the pieces. The frame affair on the back of the Ford is a trailer mover/fork lift attachment I made also.

Nice work. I thought I would like to build something as well. But I really need a welder and thought for now that is not an easy sell to the wife. I thank you for the info. I am from NB originally spent some time in Salisbury many years ago. Take care neighbour, I will keep my eyes open for parts.

Capt Coolio , Just live down the 103 to exit 12. Hello.
Whats the diff between the 2 attachments. The one with the discs and the horse plow one.

Difference not really sure, they both make the rows. Growing up we had the plow style, most of the ones I found today were the round disks. I was just hoping to save a bit of hoeing the rows. Planning on a bit larger garden and wanted to use the Kubota as much as I could ;). I thought that this would be common but looks like in Canada you have to build one.

jaotguy I have been scouring Kijji, eBay I will see about the local papers. I may just end up building one. I saw some great ideas like Ken Pike noted on this post. Just need a welder, and there are some of those on Kijji.

Just bought a 2012 B2320 last month (925 hrs). After cleanup from today's storm, hope to get to our cottage to bring my B7100 & some implements back here to advertise, the horse hoes being one of them. Hate to sell my B7100 but hate bank payments worse. Great little tractor, just wanted something with a loader.

This is an old post so if it finds you great. I am also in NS, live in Halifax, land out in East Gore. I liked your 3 pt hiller design and am building one like it right now. Wondering what the purpose is of the connection point at the top of the main frame facing backwards. Looks like a good idea, but not sure what for.
