You are a resourceful guy.

Thanks.

Also pull it with the mower:

The mower:

I can pull it or push it with the loader:

I bought this Harbor Freight Haul Master Multi-Use Ball Mount and Hitch Receiver for $32 today.

Unfortunately, the hitch is about 5/8" too long to fit the short receiver on the RTV500. I'm either going to have to find a different solution, or cut a little bit off of it.

I just realized they have another version. I might try that before I cut this one.

Can you grind a 5/8" deep vertical slot in the middle of the hitch to clear the differential?

After looking at your picture, you won't be able to use both at the same time. The basket will hit the tongue unless your land is completely flat.

The RTV500 doesn't have a particularly tight turning radius.

I haven't done any scientific testing (that will have to wait until my wife is home), but so far it APPEARS the trailer doesn't hit the basket when I drive in a circle.

Harbor Freight also sells an ATV version of the basket that might clear the trailer if it were a problem.

Another thought is the $30 Dual Hitch Extender and a ball-mount. Pushes everything out a couple inches.

I think I understand what you mean -- yeah, high plains here. Flat.

Yep, front wheels go up, back of basket goes down, hits trailer tongue.

Back wheels go down into a depression, back of basket goes down, hits trailer tongue.
