We grow avocados the size of melons on our farm, we share with all the neighbors a few times a year. They in return share what they grow with us.

We have been hit by thieves a few times so we acquired 2 dogs, now no more thieves !

...but they're a lot smaller than raspberries and (IMHO) sweeter, but without that hint of sour a raspberry might have. No, I wouldn't normally say raspberries are sour, but in a side by side taste test you'd know what I meant.
Smaller and firmer than a raspberry, they don't fall apart as fast in your mouth, and an occasional tiny seed (smaller than a grain of sand) that lodges in your tooth sustains the experience.

They are great in pancakes! I freeze several quarts every year.

Birds thieve my black caps when they run out of mulberries. My trucks are white with purple highlights, either way. :laughing:

Fruits are small & tart with seeds more obvious where growing in the sunniest spots, much nicer where ground stays moist longer. The plants pop up everywhere, a nice grab from the ZTR when passing by.

Whatever you like about whichever berries, I recommend black caps on vanilla ice cream. You won't fuss over size or seeds, but would appreciate the great flavor. Water your patches vs mowing them down if you want free fruit from a maintenance-free source within walking distance.

Btw, around here folks have been stealing crops for years when they could just smo ... 'er grow their own.
