Garden tractor / snowblower

Chuck, you already have a B2620 why not add a front or rear mounted snow blower to it?
Wouldn't it be cheaper then a new little tractor? Storage for one tractor instead of two. I had a BX23 TLB with a front mounted snow blower and it was almost un-stop able. Cost would be about equal to new garden tractor.

Jay, my brother over in Farmington does his level, paved driveway with a JD 100 series, and it works for him. Actually, I think there is some rise in his drive too, now that I think about it. When I asked him about it early this fall, he said you should try to get something with a differential lock if you can. I would guess that he has traction issues now, and then, but his drive stays clear.

One of my concerns with putting a new blower, and perhaps soft cab on my Simplicity is that it is a bit like putting a $50 saddle on a $5 horse now. The tractor has over 600 hours on it, and with the economy, no one really wants it in trade. If I decide to upgrade my mower anytime in the near future, the snowblower, etc. would really add very little to it's value I think. Now if it were a BX, or JD X545, etc. that would be different for some reason. Folks balk at buying diesel tractors with that many hours sometimes.
