Garden vs. Yard tractor for 4 acres...compare, opinions please

This seems like a good buy for somone mowing less than 5 acres but doesn't want to mow with a big tractor. Low hour Diesel in PA. G series Kubotas are also a great mower for the money.

Some of the newer sub compacts and compacts have controls to float the mid mower deck. Mine goes from 1.5 to 4 inches. It's going to be nice to set it and forget it this summer

Have you had a chance to mow with your Max yet or did you just get it? I looked at the Mahindra model 2015 several years ago. I nearly bought it. The Max is the size of my GC I believe. How do you like it in General?

My mowers will work with the deck suspended and have hydraulic height control. But by self levitation I was referring to Hovercraft, that would be neat no wheel tracks.

Hovercraft are too dusty, and they blow the grass down.

Maybe a mower under one of these so you can straddle your lawn.

No chance to mow yet, just got it last weekend. Took the deck off and storing it till spring. So when I was looking, I looked at all the sub compacts from all the different colors and it wasn't an easy choice. Just made it more difficult lol, if I ever hit the lottery I think I know what I'm collecting . Anyway so far I've moved all the snow banks out of the way, left by a lousy no longer needed plow job. Began moving a good size wood pile I cut yesterday for campfire wood for our backyard. Moved a bunch of yard debris that was left from last fall, and started moving manure out of the horse rings. This little loader is just what we needed here! . I love how capable it is, in a small tractor. I've buried it twice, thanks to 4wd, diff lock and some loader work it popped itself out no problem. So far so good and I love it. It's nice to look around the property and see things getting done, and now in short order!!!!
