That is some good advice, Mark. How do I go about having the soil test done? Athens is not very far from me.

Well it is easy to do here in Georgia. Look up where your UGA Cooperative Extension Agents office is, phone book or google, and they will have a test bag for your soil. They send it to UGA and you will get a report in about a week.
