. I inadvertantly bought garlic at Sam's Club that was grown in China. What?
I grow garlic. Recently visited relatives in Toronto Ontario and was informed that the supermarkets have gone to China Garlic because the consumer shops by the dollar and not quality. This is the largest garlic I grew last year. I grow all hard neck varieties and unlike "supermarket" varieties I am still eating garlic in May. Sad for Ontario because they have one of the richest organic areas just North of the city, it literally stretches for miles.

When you plant garlic cloves upside-down, they come up in China. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.![]()
