I just got a no spill diesel can from Tractor Supply and it痴 working out great so far. No spill says it flows 3 gallons per minute and I think it does plus it didn稚 drip.
No Spill, Inc. Diesel Can, 5 gal., CARB Compliant at Tractor Supply Co.
The no spill can spout works great but you can speed up the flow quite a bit by adding a vent cap on the top back side by the handle. I put one on both my diesel and gas can, saved one and gave a couple to buddies. I think it almost doubles the flow as it doesn't have to take a break to breathe.

Nope! Not mine. You must continually hold the 'fill' button down on the spigot to empty. As soon at you let go, it shuts off. No Spill... and has nothing to do with adding a vent. No vent means the air has to come through the fill spigot to replenish the emptied volume thus slowing down the rate of pour. An auxiliary vent solves that problem.Only issue with these vents as it negates auto shut off feature of "No Spill" can/nozzle I believe...

I like the no spill cans for filling my small engines. Emptying a 5 gallon no spill takes forever.

Now that makes sense. However I have never had a problem overfilling even the smallest tank I was refueling even with my old vented containers which I still use. You're describing the manual shut-off. The No-Spill cans will automatically stop flowing when the tank level has reached the No-Spill nozzle, even with the button pressed. Dale is saying your auxiliary vent breaks the auto shut-off feature.

NOt sure of your response, my NO SPILL quits filling once the level of fuel reached end of spigot even if you keep button pushed down, like automatic shut off on gas pump nozzle... Sure saves a on a lot of run over and wasted fuel as long as auto shut off is functioning... Believe it has to do with the small tube in spigot being able to draw in air to vent tank... Maybe I am mistaken, but don't find need for extra vent for increased speed, beside the extra moments of quiet time are welcome...
Wife loves her "No Spill" for "her " mower saves her from flooding area with fuel... They come is one gallon sizes too...
