I've only been using my 4200 for loader work mostly light duty. Been getting a little better than 3 hrs./gal. of fuel. I'm impressed. My welder with a 16hp Briggs burns about a gal./hour. They should put more diesels in cars and trucks.

Full throttle, 4wd, some locked diff, B range, cruise, AC, about 3.5mph pulling a disc in unplowed old pasture between 2 and 2 1/2 gal per hour. I am pleased!!
