I wonder if the original poster "honda23" is reading all these posts and has worked out what is necessary for his new chainsaw

Now soundguy nobody was talking about briggs motors and lawn mowers.

Yes todays poulan trimmers and chainsaws say 87. We were talking husqvarna, stihl, dolmar chainsaws etc and not B&S lawn mower motors LOL.

YES I run 87 in my lawn mowers push and riders. Totally different engines and requirements.
