Gas power washer pump won't suck up soap

It sounds as if the previous owner did not flush out the soap container and wand and your machine is gummed up. Try this empty the soap out of it. Then fill the soap container with good clean water, if your water supply if full of metals like iron and manganize use bottled water. Set your wand to soap and give it a few trys. You may have to soak your machine a while to clean out the gum left by not rinseing out the soap container after each use.
I had to let my washer set over night with 1/2 cup of hydrogine poroxcide and topped off with water in the soap container to clean out the soap system. When I did this the machine was put on a high bench with the hose layed out streight and the wand set to soap with a string wrapped around the trigger and handle to open the nozzle, then let gravity do its thing. In the morning there was a puddle on the garage floor and an empty soap dispenser.
Remember that the soap dispenser will only work at the lowest preasure with the wand setting and to flush all of the soap out after each use.
And my washer works just great now

I took the soap injection elbow off and noticed the ball bearing inside was stuck. I cleaned off the bearing and reinstalled it and all is well now. Soap comes out nice and fast now. I'll post some pictures of what I fixed later on.

That may be a "check" ball.

The reason for the low pressure is to move more water at a lower pressure which will let the little nozzle and venturi create a vacuum. This is what pulls the soap. If the nozzle plugs up, no soap.

Thanks for posting the "FIX". I have a Titan 2500 psi pressure washer - B&S engine and now I know what to check if the problem occurs in the future.

Here is the elbow I was referring to:

Once you remove that bolt, there is a tiny spring and a ball bearing which is held in place by the spring. The ball bearing was jammed from crusty old soap or oxidation.. couldn't tell which. Either way, popping it out with a pick tool and rubbing it in some sand paper shined it right up and I was off and running. Fully working gas pressure washer, yay!

My friend was happy.. I tested it out by pressure washing her car :)

Jim Miller's solution worked perfectly for my old Karcher. Thanks!
