Anyone else notice when gas prices go up at the pump now they go up 20-30 cents per gallon not 5-10 cents ? The prices sure in the heck don,t drop 20-30 cents per gallon more like 3-5 cents per gal.

Speeedway raises the price here every 3 weeks. They own the refinery and all their own stations

Switching from winter blend to summer blend or vice versa must be an expensive thing for the refineries to do. They sure hike the price per gallon every time they do it.

Summer is coming more drivers equal more usage so price goes up. Funny to me how the price goes up and down quickly but it takes time for oil to get here I think a week or more

Same thing here... Price jumped 20 cents overnight. Seems they instead of using the LIFO or FIFO method of pricing, they use highest price either in or out. There doesn't seem to be anything standard about gas stations pricing systems other than charge the highest price the public will pay.

Holiday coming up, normally jumps then lowers as holiday approaches, then again, they might need to start funding their vacations or raise quarterly margins:confused3:
