Gas shortages

87 octane is $1.256 and 91 octane is $1.449 and diesel is $1.01, a liter that is. Multiply that by 3.78 and that will give you what it costs us a US gallon.

I bought gas at Sam's Club this morning for $2.529. I noticed some other stations prices at $2.599.

We peaked at ~$2.80 for 87 octane and diesel. Gasoline has started dropping, $2.65 for 87, $3.20 for 89 yesterday when I picked up mower, saw, and splitter gas. Diesel isn't dropping.

Paid $2.29 yesterday in Tyler, but most places are about ten cents more. The shortage lasted one day. I still wonder what all those people who filled up water tanks with hundreds of gallons of gas are doing with it? and how much of it is ruined and wasted?

I saw prices in the Denton, TX, area from $2.39 to $2.59 today.

Gas had dropped to pre hurricane prices @ $2.25-2.30. What is going on with diesel though, it's still ~ $2.70
