Gasafire

Has anyone built a gasifcation unit ? If so, could you recommend what design is the best, and maybe show some pictures of what you have built ?
I'm looking to for a gasifre to run a 10,000 watt generator.

Search for GASSIFIER and you'll find a bunch of videos. I browsed Youtube vids on them. It looks pretty difficult to do well. I can't figure out how ol' Eustace got his junker truck running on wood in only two episodes of Mountain Men. In his case I'd bet there's some trickery going on.
