Gasoline Prices Up & Down Like a Yo-Yo

This morning, I took my wife's car to the nearest QuikTrip and filled it with gas at $3.399, came home and got my pickup and the gas cans for lawn equipment and went back to the same station and the price had come down 8 cents to $3.319.:laughing:

Just the opposite here in Rochester NY. It's up to $3.69 now from $3.53 last week.

I do not follow the gas prices since the truck takes diesel. The price on diesel has not moved much over the last year or so. It has been right at 3.85ish for a long time. I think it went up to about 3.89 for awhile, maybe down in the 3.70's for a short time. The mild weather certainly kept the price from moving up.

I guess that price is per gallon,here in oz its around $1.50 per litre and same as there its 8-10 cents up and down each day,and diesel is dearer than petrol(sorry gasoline)

Diesel has only broken the fall to $3.69 a gallon, most of it is higher. When I bought my first diesel truck, fuel was $0.69 a gallon...???Cheaper during most summer's, but now all excess fuel is sold to Brazil, NO MORE GAS wars..

I think around here diesel is usually 30 to 50 cents a gallon more than regular gasoline.

Gas around here is up $.25-.30 over the past two weeks.

I read your thread yesterday Bird, but had no "current" info, so as I went to Ft Worth yesterday I paid attention

Reg Unleaded $3.24-$3.49
Diesel $3.68-$3.99

This was in a 20 mile stretch with Wal Mart and Race Trac having the cheapest overall, near downtown ft Worth the highest, so I guess the YO-YO is also on a pendulum
