I just purchased gator blades from my Local John Deere dealer, I have a 2320 with a 62d deck. I have had this since 2008, the deck came with the standard blades.....it seemed to cut well but I thought it left a lot of windrows when ever I mowed. After asking around no one seemed to be able to tell me how well gator blades would work on my deck. So I took a chance and ordered them. (my dealer had never sold a set for this deck) I believe they cost about $65. They are very heavy steel just like the original blades. So before I put them on I thought I would service my deck, pressure wash the underside and give them a good test. I made sure my grass was long and that it was dry. It had been raining her for 3 days so the grass has been growing like crazy
: I went out and started mowing and couldn't believe how well they cut! I am told that the gator blades reduce the clipping 4 to 1, and I believe it. It makes my lawn look 200% better. The blades also seem to struggle less in taller grass and the tractor doesn't seem to work as hard. I also have three other people who have a 2320 and they were so impressed with the cut of the blades they have all gone out and purchased a set for their tractors. My only regret is that I did not have them two years ago. I give the gators a thumb up for me they are great!
