The old thread is at least a year old or more, but it has some good info. My experience with 3 blades on a RCK60-24 for my B7400 is that they are nosier, 2 are a tiny bit lose despite my hammer gun (the washers don't completely tighten against the blade), they leave a bit of a swath on one side. The clippings are smaller, but the cut isn't fine until you go over it twice. Somebody on the old thread suggested a lower cut; I think I'm at 3.5 or 3in. Any input would be appreciated. THX

I have used a set of the gator blades recently. I thought they done ok but not really any better than the oem blades.

I found them to be pretty noisy too. I also have slowed my ground speed a bit to get the best effect. They do make a smaller clipping, and that's what I am after. The mulch.

Any thoughts on cutting height? Slower RPM's I haven't tried yet. thanks for the tip.
