Gator plow

My nieghbor recently bought one of the newer gators that is built more like a artic cat prowler and I was wandering if anyone has built a plow for one of these.

Not built, but I bought the Deere V-plow for our HPX. It was pricy, but I'm at the tail end of a 3 year house renovation project and couldn't fab something up without getting yelled at by the missuss. (and when momma ain't happy, no one's happy!).

You can read a bit more about it down in the UTV section. This summer I plan to convert it to power angling, so if you'd like to know any particulars on how Deere does this one, go ahead and ask.

could you tell me how the angling is done and post a pictur of how it mounts to the gator

Here's some pics of the angling. The first is a side view that shows a general arrangement of the plow, including the trip mechanism. Manual angling is done by pulling a hitch pin and moving the link to one of three holes on each blade half. The second and third pictures show the geometry in the fore and aft positions. I took these pics a week or two ago to help my memory aas I model it in CAD to design the brackets for hydraulic cylinders for angling.

Sorry I don't have pictures of the mounting, but I will take some if you explain your specific concerns. The plow frame itself is mounted with (I think 5/8") hitch pins to lugs on the Gator frame just below the passengers. It pivots about these when raised/lowered. The hydraulic unit rests on the bottom bar of the front bumper/grill guard and is secured with two small hitch pins through the grill guard side plate. You can see one of those pins in the first picture. It is power up/power down with down pressure.
