I found the no-fuel problem for a friends Bobcat skidsteer yesterday afternoon. Fuel pickup hose broke off in the tank.Sounds like a good plan.
My dad's Honda TLB has an intermittent fuel issue, it's very frustrating.

I have to admit.............and I smacked myself in the head several times............I did not test out the 3 pt. when this happened last week(before I went out over the road). Although the tech said that I should have gotten the same response as the FEL, if I would have tried it.That's weird, is your 3pt hitch works properly. Because just by thinking about it, it sounds like the hydro flow may be restricted (somewhere after the loader valve) and your hydro pump may be working harder. When you activate the loader valve, it redirects the flow to the tank which also relief over pressure on the pump. I cannot see how the idle speed would change otherwise. This is just an hypotheses. Would that make any sense at all?
Cheers,
