Regarding retailers, I didn't even know what TSC stood for, so I looked it up. Looks like a staple for much of the country, but there is not a single store in the Pacific Northwest states.

Sorry, we just assumed.

Perhaps you can find a retailer for Fleet Charge in your area. Conventional Antifreeze in Heavy It's convenient for me to get, and fair priced. (nearly the same price as Prestone). So, I use it.

It would have been nice if they would have given us a good reason for changing it annually. It leaves things open to speculation as for why. We know antifreeze will last a lot longer than a year. That leaves the need for more diesel coolant additives, (DCA), or as some call it supplemental cooling additives, (SCA), as one possibility. Diesel antifreeze will be formulated with the proper amount of these in it. And, could have the potential to last longer than automotive antifreeze in this application.

Some auto parts stores sell the SCA additive, if you want to go that route. I think it is just more convenient to buy it already added. Also, check truck stops, if there are any near you they should have both.

I just changed out my antifreeze about a week ago for the second time, had the tractor 2 years so far, :cool:. Don't know why MF wants it changed out every year, but I figure since they made it so easy to drain and fill the antifreeze, I would follow the instructions of MF, :confused2:. The Napa 50/50 antifreeze was $7.88 a gallon last year, and it was $7.56 this year, ;);). At this rate I know I still can afford a gallon of antifreeze each year, :thumbsup:. This is just my :2cents: on this subject, :rolleyes:. KC :D :D :D

I would replace it, you can get it at Jack's I think. I would hate to see anything major happen because of a tear in a filter, IMHO.
I agree with Wacky, I would change that torn filter screeen ASAP. Nothing good can come from using a torn screen on a hydro tranny.
