Gc1710 bxpanded thumb gets a thumbs up from me

Not sure how long this has been available but it looks like a better design than the agco accessory to me...and it was $200 less than I was quoted for the agco thumb.

It came so well packed I think I could of ordered a dozen eggs with it and they would have arrived okay.

Pic of fully extended and stored positions...if this will work on my phone.

Looks good! Your cell phone photos worked fine except there is some sort of white stuff in the pictures.

I worked the stock thumb into my deal....but it was designed horrible, had to cut the end and curve it in so it would grab stuff....if I didn’t have it I would go your route for sure, looks great! Don’t be afraid to put it to work! (Picture before modification)

Well-- that's the first time I noticed that improvement on the CB65 BH-- the boom doubler plate hangs down a bit and has a bolt hole already in place for a thumb; great idea! My ol' 2310 doesn't have that, so the thumb I got (Bro-Tek) used a pair of plates that clamp onto the BH boom to make the attachment point. That CB65 is a much better idea!

You'll find that thumb is a great addition!

I got mine back in October. I saw a review of it on YouTube (Louisiana aquaponics), that was first time I had seen the new factory fit design. He has some good videos for gc1700 owners. I haven't had an chance to use it yet, but have a bunch of shrubs and bushes that need ripping up in the spring.
