N1ST, you should be able to get synthetic grease anywhere. I by it at the corner hardware store.

Don't pay attention to how "dirty" the engine oil is. Its a diesel, it turns black really fast. You will never have clean, clear oil. Just change it by the book.

Well I did my first service last weekend. I was bad and let it slip to 60 hours. My first service was a slow process. I think it took me 4 hours with all the running around trying to find a can wrench to fit my the small filter. I also checked and double checked all my oil levels. Engine looked good but the transmission, I was very surprised. The oil looked like somebody dump silver paint in it and the filter behind the wheel had a lot of little metal shavings. I've never serviced a new engine/transmission so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. I even had some bits of what I believe was lock tight (blue particles). Should I be concerned or is this normal?

When I did my first maint. I was also worried about how much metal flake was in there. I even called my dealer. He told me that is normal, and gave me another filter and told me to change it in 10 more hours and if there was still metal flakes in there, they would take it apart and see were its coming from, But when I changed it there was any, so now a have 200 hrs and seems to be just fine.

Did you guys remember to clean the screen behind the left rear wheel?

Yes, I greased, lubed, cleaned and change everything that was need. At least I hope I got everything.

Yup, this screen behind the left rear wheel is where I found most of these shavings.
