Anyone own a GC2300.. I am looking at buying one or the BX 2200 tractor but havent heard much about the GC2300. I like the lower rpm the MF runs at to obtain its horse power but will it hold up in time like the BX does (so i have read)?
I have never seen one of them MF GC2300. But Massey has been around for a long time and am sure it is just as good as the Kubota. But I would get pricing on both of them. get to know the dealers who handles them and then make your decision from there. You might find them really close in price and you might not. If so go with the dealer that you like the best.
I have a MF dealer a mile from me. I asked if he was going to get any GC2300 tractors in. He said no that he was not sure if he was even going to continue with them. I would be skeptical unless you have a great dealer that you have a lot of confidence that he will stay in business. Kubota BX22 is the machine to beat. I am sure there are several good good tractors that will compete. I would love to try the Kioti CK20 if they ever get to our shores.....
I made a special trip up to talk to Xpress Truck Sales. They are the closest Kioti Dealer (90 miles). No one in the place knew the price of the DK35 & DK45 tractors on the lot. The only person that did tractor sales was on vacation. I asked someone in the shop what he thought of the Kioti tractors. He said he had not worked on them. That is when I made the decision to buy a Kubota BX22. It is also 60 miles closer to my home. The CK20 looks on paper like a great little tractor. Without dealer support especially on a new model, I decided against Kioti. That is the same reason I did not pursue the GC2300, lack of dealer support.
I looked at a GC2300 last fall when they came out. I cannot specifically recall too much about them, but I clearly remember that there was a plethora of little things that I did not like. If you are (up to now) just looking at catalogs and specs, I recommend you physically check them both out. You may find you decision a little clearer then.

Yep, the engine displacement is a little over 68 cu.in...
I seen one earlier this year, it's a cute little tractor but doesn't seen
to be generating allot of interest. The dealer I talked with was selling
the tractor for $10,000 with 60 inch MMM out the door.
