GC2310 Steering gear: Using Kubota parts to replace unavailable MF parts

Hi Everyone, I thought owners of old MF GC2310 tractors, and other models too, might be interested in this project. The steering cylinder and tie rod ends on my GC2310 are shot. I tried getting the cylinder rebuild here in Hawaii but wasn't encouraged by my investigation. Just for grins I looked up what Kubota does for their steering cylinder and it looked pretty close to the MF cylinder. More investigation led me to buying a steering cylinder and tie rod ends from Kubota and installing them on my GC2310.

Thanks, good to know. I already use Kubota Micky Mouse lights on my 2310 and numerous Kubota parts on my snow blower.
