I have seen sites with thumbs small enough for a 2310. I am not sure how useful it would be on a hoe that small, (you really don't have that much reach or lifting capacity). I once had to move a good size anvil for a neighbor and decided since it was attached to a stand, I would pick it up with the hoe, (used a chain), and drive away. Well, I did drive away but the front wheels were in the air! And that was not all that much weight. I don't think your going to pick up anything all that heavy with the thumb. Considering that you have to weld the thing on, you may as well go all the way and fabricate it too. It would be a waste if it was super heavy duty, so I don't think it would be a real big challenge to make. I am afraid that it will be like my 6" bucket, really cool to have but, not as useful as you think.
