GC2400/2410 or move up to 1500 series

I have the same question. Looked at the 1523 and the 2400 at a local dealers when I was pickng up grain drill parts. How do they compare in price?

I bought my GC2400 this past April with the FEL, 60" MMM and 66" dozer blade. The 1500 series was about $4,500 more. We have 9 acres with a 1/4 mile driveway.

The dealer steered me towards this tractor and it does everything I've asked so far from digging, grading, mowing and york raking....it's been a pretty darn good tractor.

I must say though, if I was to do much more with it in the woods, I'm probably would have gotten the larger tractor. For me...I didn't need it. Most of my work would be along trails or in the yard.
