Doug, there is a GC2600/GC2610 coming that is different from the new 2600 series. Rumor has it that it is the same size as the GC2410, and has the same size engine which produces more hp at higher rpm.

From what I can see, there's not 4x4 option on the 2600 series unless I'm reading the specs wrong.

Oh great, this will get confusing. If it is the same but different why? Just turn up the pump on a GC2400 and you have a GC2600?

Here's the straight scoop from a dealer here in the Portland Oregon area with some prices he quoted me:

Thanks for your inquiry on the Massey Ferguson GC2400 serie compact tractors. Below are some of the new features to be found on the GC2400 series. We should see them at our dealership this March. (probably at the end of the month) The loader for these tractors is the new style with the curved booms which gives a streamlined, modern look. We believe that the hood will remain steel construction. As far as the promotional financing, it will probably end this month (February) and won't be available by the time the new models reach our dealership.

Here are the updates listed on the GC2400 sereis that I copied from the Massey Ferguson website.

GC2400/GC2600 Introduction

We are pleased to announce the release of the new GC2400, GC2410, GC2600, and GC2610 Massey Ferguson
compact tractors. The GC2400 and GC2600 are rated respectively at 22.5 and 25 gross engine horsepower. The
GC2400 and GC2410 will replace the GC2300 and GC2310 model while the GC2600 and GC2610 are new additions
to the sub compact line up.
All new models come standard with a hydrostatic transmission and several new features to enhance the value of the
best sub compact tractor on the market. The new GC series has been redesigned with innovative styling for a sharp
sleek look similar to the 2600 and 3600 series. We also have improved the styling on the loader and backhoe to a
curved boom design much like the DL series loaders currently available. With a complete styling overhaul the
new GC series has sharp lines and a distinctive appearance.
Feature Enhancements
1. The new GC Series will now have side-by-side pedals.
2. The brake pedal has been moved to the left hand side of the floorboard. This new location is more accessible
to the operator and frees up more space on the right side floorboard for the redesigned hydrostatic pedals
3. A new improved analog instrument panel design with a tachometer, fuel gauge and engine coolant gauge similar
to the panel on a small chassis 1500 series model add to the distinctive new look.
4. The operator platform is now larger giving the operator more room and added comfort.
5. Not only has the platform been enlarged and the brake pedal has been moved but the location of the mower
height control gauge has also been relocated out of the way of the operator from the floorboard to the kick
plate for easier access.
6. Both TLB models now come standard with cruise control.
7. The flashers mounted on the ROPS have been changed with an added guard for protection. The new flashers
mimic the design of the flashers on the 1529 and 1532 tractor models.
8. Operator platform has been redesigned to add more space between the operator and the control levers.
All current implements for the GC2300 and GC2310 are compatible with the new models. The new DL100 loader
will work on the GC2300 and the 2350 loader will work on the new GC2400 and GC2600 series (excluding the
grill guard). All front-mount implements are compatible as well. The tire options and the hydraulic option will
remain the same.

The GC痴 have been a great selling unit in the compact line up. With the improved design and features we are anxiously
awaiting a successful spring in 2008. The first run of production will be available to ship to dealers this
coming March.
Sorry about the confusion on the financing. I was misinformed and passed it along to you. The promotional financing does run until the end of March for the GC2300 / GC2310 models. Our info on the GC2400 series is limited and has not yet been released to the public but it is unlikely that the 0% for 60 months will apply to the GC2400. We have a call into MF to see if they have any financing deals on the new models. I will let you know what I find out.

The info I sent you was taken off a secured web site accessible only to MF dealers.

The tillers that we sell to fit these models are made by Agric Tillers Inc. made in Spain. They are a high quality machine and will last for years and years of service. The model AL45 is a good match that tractor. It's 45" wide and will be wide enough to cover the tire tracks. They cost $1780.00

It sounds like R4 industrial tires are what you are asking for, they are available for both GC2300 and GC2400 series and the loaders are interchangeable between the two, except for the grill guard fits the GC2400 only.

The GC2300 with 2350 loader, R4 industrial tires, 60" mmm. List $16042.00* Your cost $13555.00* w/ 0.0%, 0 down, 60 months.

The GC2400 with DL100 loader, Joystick, Grill guard, R4 industrial tires, 60" mmm. List $16436.00* Your cost $14172.00 w/ (financing?)

$$$$$$
That MSRP is 2K+ more than a BX2350, and only $200 less than a BX24 with backhoe!

ArcheryNut, I feel the same way...I love being the guy on the block with the newest of everything!!! I just got mine in July of 2007...so mines newer!!! But from the pics, I am not sold yet...I like just about everything with the 2310 except the SMALL and UNREACHABLE parking brake, I wish there was a race or catch hooks on the frame for the hydraulic lines when hooking up the front end attachments, the lines are so long for the front blade, if I didn't wire tie them to the frame, they catch on the tires, not a big deal, but I go back and forth between the loader and blade so it is a pain to have to do this every time...everyone complains about the seat, but I have no problem with it once I figured out the trick to switching it from front to back...The curved boom would have been the only reason I bought the BX, but I went with the MF because it beat Kubota hands down...who wants ORANGE anyway!!! I'm not a big fan of the hydrostatic, I feel it takes power away from the machine when you need it in the lower gears...so the pedals won't matter if its still hydrostatic...if it ain't broke DON'T FIX IT...I agree with a couple tweeks but the 2310 is solid...no need to make major changes...maybe I'll sneak to my dealer in the middle of the night and swap the new backhoe with the old one LOL...I bet you it would work!!!
