Loader GC2410-No Big Deal But I Keep Breaking Grease Zerks....

Hi All-Tried to search for any light mods that would work in preventing rocks from wedging in between the front top grease zerks and the bucket. I did see that someone welded a plate but I want to still have easy access for greasing. I'm thinking of maybe a screen mesh cap of some sorts that will slip on and off at will-possibly help on with sheet metal clips? Any one else have any ideas? So far I broke the zerk nipples 4 times-trying to be carefull


I am probably breaking more than average because I am moving around 4-18 yard truck loads of gravel-hoping that project will be done soon.

On one of my cars a Tech was having a hard time getting to the zerk so he changed it by installing a zerk that comes out at an angle, so my thought is what if you were able to do that and then weld a plate to protect it and the angle zerk would allow you to still access it??
