Baawattt.. they dont break either, do they?
...the only difficulties I have seen with gear is using a FEL, that takes alot of practice to get it down and just more work...
I guess I never noticed this before because I always have a full cold beverage in it but it was too cold for one today. After close examination I found two possibilities to cure this problem. One, I can use clear silicone on the underneath of the fender to glue the holder down so it doesn't rattle, or two, I can keep a full cold beverage in it to stop the rattle. Decisions, decisions?![]()
.... if I'm supposed to spend all this quality time on an HST (none of which would ever be enough for you HST police to concede was enough for me to have a valid opinion anyway) then how in the heck do you expect me to do so? I'm mean really. What utter nonsense. "Go spend some time on one." How? Where? None of my neighbors here in the suburbs has one and none of the farmers next to my land have one, or even know what they are. Are we going back to the "rent one" thing. Once again, why? If I didn't like it I'd be out the rental money and would have achieved NOTHING. If I loved it and couldn't live without it, then still, NOTHING changed. I couldn't afford one when I bought mine and right now, I couldn't afford what I paid for my geared tractor. So, unless you can put up a better suggestion then you might as well drop that fantasy.
I don't know about other tractors but my NH 2420 has a foot pedal in addition to the console lever to control engine speed. Doing FEL work without the foot control would suck. I would assume that most if not all other gear tractors come with foot a pedal to control engine speed, but maybe not.
No one here but you seems to think trying one out is a bad idea.![]()
I don't have to be educated over my level, right? You quotin' (geo's new confusing signature) Greeks an Roman's or somethin'?
It is never too cold for a cold beverage!![]()
