Mowing Gear lube leaking on mower gear box out of vent

My RCK60-24B deck does the same thing. The amount of lube lost is very minimal and other than the mess, I wouldn't let it be a concern!

My LX4 vents a little oil at times.. BUT I think I would rather it vent out the breather tube than build up pressure and blow oil out through the seals

I have 2 woods mowers and both of them done it. If you take the vent out and look at the check valve in them, they are real strong to open.
What I did was to put a 90 deg. tube fitting in. Ran a clear hose up the 3pt. frame pointing down to keep water out, put a filter on the end to keep out dirt and bugs. Now if it comes out it drains back into gear box and not all over my mower.
