gear oil for finishing mower

I just bought a finishing mower and the instruction manual says to use EP90 or EP140 transmission oil in the finishing mower. Is this the same transmission/hydraulic oil I use in my tractor?

I believe they are talking about 90 wieght gear oil. It usualy comes in taller bottles with a pointed top, I believe they are quart bottles. Im not sure if that is what you use in your tractor or not, but you only need basic gear oil for the mower.
