Gear pump hose ?

After changing out all hydro fluid on 07 DK40SE, I see my gear pump hose between the two metal tubes is leaking. Adding another hose clamp did nothing so maybe hose is rotted. How do I get to this to replace as its blocked by the frame? Do ai have to remove upper hard tube from gear pump and remove pipe going to the rear?

Well as I cant get to the clamps I would like to know if I can drop entire pipe assembly down so I can reach clamps ? Also how can I lessen lots of fluid loss as just replaced it? I would have to remove from pump here.

I can answer my own question. That pipe goes back to filter mount so that ain't coming off. Since the factory installed the hose clamps backwards so bolts could be reached , looks like I have to remove loader and right side loader mount to access hose. About 11 bolts that will fight for sure. From there an easy job despite trying not to lose fluid.

A good size drop every 5secs. The rubber hose , which I still cant find on MIE part diagram, must be rotted.

It appears to be. For vibration I guess. It has to be low pressure though. Connects hard lines from pump to filter.

Yes its a coupler for the 2 hard pipes. It has to be low pressure with hose clamps but rated for hyd fluid. A local hydraulic hose shop has some reinforced hose that should work and save me a 2hr drive to the dealer.
I am shocked at how much fluid is dripping as this is after pump and before filter so return line I would think. I would expect the pump to not allow much fluid to pass when stationary.

Yes, but that is the "return to pump" line coming from the sump. Yes, low pressure, but it is also a 'low' spot.
You could try the shop vac trick to prevent a lot of fluid coming out. You'll still get some flowing out, but it could reduce the amount you loose considerably.
