Hello All-
Something happened while I was bush hogging some heavy brush yesterday and now my gear shift lever appears to have come loose from the transmission linkage.
Tractor is operable. I think the transmission is stuck in second gear. I’m able to use the shuttle shift lever for forward/reverse/neutral functions.
The tractor is a 2019 Kioti NX5510, with manual transmission.
I pulled the shifter boot off and looked around. I can see the end of the shift stick hanging freely, and don’t see any broken pieces.
The bottom of the shifter has a socket for what appears to be a ball & socket type joint. Is it possible that this just popped loose from the transmission linkage?
*I tried posting this in the Kioti thread but didn’t get any response…Thought this might have a larger audience.
Thanks for any advice.
