What is one of these balers like baling hay?

I don't know if this will help any, but I had a 1475 with "TDC" round bailer and it was a real nice bailer. Nice tight consistant bales, no matter how you fed the pickup, it made a nice bale. (I responded thinking that a 1500 might be a newer model of my 1475)

The first model roller Gehl built. I had 3 or more. My first was the one with 4 inch wide top belts. The next two were 1500a they had 6 inch wide top belts. I like them a lot. I sold the last for parts and scrap. In that time most all balers were closed throat except for chain type new hollands. Makes a good even densidy roll. Fairly easy to pull but heavy. I have seen a couple of the ford 551 & 552 models made by gehl for them so some parts are around.
Workable roller just get it cheap.
