Born in Macon, lived there until 11. Middle and high school in Swainsboro, undergrad and some grad study at GA Southern.

Hey Tom!

Different world out there in Cali compared to Macon and Swainsboro. I was stationed in 29 Palms for a glorious 29 months (What a co-inky-dink).

Don't know about them dawgs since I'm not a dawg fan, but I do like to make fun of 'em. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wanted to say Hi even though I am a little late on this thread. Spent 16 years in Atlanta, the last 2 at the present homestead a little South of Cedartown (30 miles S. of Rome, Ga.) and we have a place in White County up in the Ga. mountains. Glad to see so many Ga. tractor people on the forum.

A little slow here, just saw the thread. (it takes longer for data to reach us in Taylorsville
/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif) Born down south in Waycross. spent most of my wild oats years on St. Simons island. Punched holes in the ocean for six years on SSBN 631, a Submarine. Told Uncle Sam I had enough and moved to the Atlanta area. Lived in Cobb county for 22 years, then last year the wife and I got tired of the traffic, and moved to 10 arces, in Taylorsville in Bartow county. 65 miles northwest of Hartsville airport, 16 miles southeast of Rome. Where direction are given in terms of take a left at the big oak tree, then a right just past bubba's hay barn.
