I'd come to visit but for a few minor issues.
First, you guys drive your tractors on the "wrong" side of the field, just like you drive your cars on the "wrong" side of the road.
Second, your plows probably flip the earth to the "wrong" side too.
Third, since you are "down under" I presume you need special seeds that grow the other way when planted because North American seeds grow UP; if I brought seeds they would grow down where you live, it is all just too confusing for a simpleton like me!
And the BIG reason I won't be able to make it down under for a meeting is you guys won't let me in the country with my guns . . . tractoring up here without guns, well that's just un-American! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We look after you Yankees down here pretty well. At pedestrian crossing at Major intersections in Sydney they write on the pavement LOOK TO YOUR RIGHT FIRST.
We plough our paddocks clockwise and all dics turn the soil to the left to keep the earth in rotation.
Special seed, If we only had enough water to germinate seed to find out.
On the issue of guns last week i went roo shooting, well i tryed to. the first time in 20yrs. I know you will ask so here it is. The German lad that stayed was a Lions Club exchange and another Lions member wanted to take him out roo shooting so i went along to. I didn't even know this guy was a keen shooter. I am seriously thinking about leaving the club now.

WOW, I can't blame you for wanting to quit! Seriously, it seems that hanging around with an honest person who likes guns might lead to giving serious consideration to all sorts of other evil things like the free press & freedom of speech, or free association and the right to religious freedoms, or, heaven forbid, dancing in public!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
By the way, I forgot all about your lack of rain issues. With the fact that rain falls DOWN up here, we pretty much count on our crops growing up to meet it. But "down under" I suppose our rain seeps throught the earth and just evaporates out of the soil where you are???
It is nice that you take care of us Yank tourists by painting the ground at intersections to tell us where to look. Somehow I suspect that you had selfish motives in that, not wanting to clean up all the blood and brain matter of silly tourist families off your windshields. Every year in the fall I pass by a dozen or more cars that have run into Whitetail Deer and made a mess of things. Do you think your street painters could come up here and paint something that our deer herds can read? Maybe if the deer checked for traffic first, we'd have fewer problems them. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well Vin I'd like to get there but just put a new addition on my sugar house so I'm broke! But you could drink a couple of pints for me for me!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Then go around a couple of round abouts acting like a tourist trying to get out of the circle. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifBoy took me a couple of times around to learn my way in Iceland.
