Getting a Dump Trailer to haul TYM 47HP a good idea

A 12ft trailer is going to get short quick for hauling a tractor. I moved my L3800 in my 14ft dump trailer. Without the loader attached and a tiller in the rear it fit with maybe 18” to spare.

Interesting. You back in the tractor. is there a reason for that?

Better weight distribution, and it's a lot easier to drive forward, as opposed to backing out of the trailer.

Look at the ramp construction. I assume it doesn't have the equipment trailer style that have "feet". You might want or need either dunnage, or feet jacks to avoid lifting the rear of your truck off the ground while loading/unloading the tractor. Traditional ramps are a heck of a lever arm, and some dump trailers have axles pretty centered on the body.

Here’s my L3800 parked on a 16ft trailer. I don’t see a 12’ working unless you plan on hauling just the base model tractor without implements.

Probably fair to point out that a 6' Rotary Cutter will not likely fit in the bed of a pickup...but, he didn't mention what implements.

I would quickly get annoyed having to disconnect the implements every time I wanted to haul it and loading implements in a regular bed truck doesn’t work that well either but in theory the idea would work.
