Getting new trailer

I just put a deposit on a new 20 ft tilt bed trailer. It is rated at 10,000 lbs. I will towing with a 2001 2500HD GMC with Duramax Diesel. My tractor is an L3130 with LA723 loader with 6 ft bucket, BH90 back-hoe and loaded R-4 tires. Does anybody out there have this tractor/trailer/truck combination? Also, Does anybody know what my tractor set-up might weigh. I'm new to towing and I want to make sure everything is safe and legal, I live in eastern CT. Thanks for your help

I have an l5030 with the 853 loader and bh90 backhoe. I had it weighed at the truckstop before i bought my trailer and it came in at 6900 lbs. I would think yours would be close of a little less. My 10000 lb trailer weighs 1800lbs so i fall under 10000 total weight. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh, I just noticed you have loaded tires, mine aren't, you'll have to figure that in.

I have a similar setup. Different tractor, newer truck. I also have a 20' tiltbed trailer, 05 2500HD EC 4x4 with Duramax / Allison, 3.73 gears. Tractor is a Mahindra 2615HST w/ loader. I have hauled it with either a snowblower, rotary cutter, back blade, or a york rake. I have also had my Polaris 4 wheeler on the back of the trailer at the same time. I estimate the maximum weight including this trailer to be about 6500-7000lb. I use tow/haul mode and lock out the overdrive.
I'd estimate your package incl. trailer to be in the 7000-7500 range. You should have no problems. I'm guessing your trailer has brakes on both axles and your truck has a brake controller. Make sure your tractor is forward enough on the trailer to give you enough tongue weight. If its back too far your trailer will act like a dog waggin his tail.
Just leave plenty of extra room for stopping and take it slow. You'd be surprised how many idiots there are that will pull out in front of you since they see your going slow. There are some pics of mine in the members section to view.
