Getting ready to buy 6' finish mower...need opinions

Hey guys & gals,

Hope we all have a great 4th of July weekend.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 6', pull behind, finish mower for my 2538. I have 10 acres to mow on a regular basis. Would appreciate input from all of you with finish mowers as to the brand, features, and pit falls of the one you own. I'm concerned about maintaining it easily. Removing and sharpening blades, tightening belts, greasing it, etc etc

What type of grass are you cutting with it? I have common Bermuda to cut.

I've been running a Woods PRD 7200 for 9 years. No issues to speak of. I've replaced the blades several times and just put new wheels and yokes on this year. I ran a light duty 5' Land Pride previously for 14 years and had similar results. I keep my implements greased up well. I am a rear finish mower fan. I feel they are the most cost effective mower for folks that can utilize them.

Mahindra has a really nice rear discharge made by grasspro. Woods is really nice too. I have a kingcutter 6ft that is a beast and easy to work on but its side discharge... only thing id like to change about it.. It will even bog down my 1540 massey in thick stuff

like turbys said its all about keepin them greased and the blades in good shape... I never mess with sharpening them just replace once a year and change gearbox oil
