Getting rid of Ants in the lawn, Need help

Fipronil will wipe out the colony. It's the ingredient in Frontline flea and tick treatment. Be careful - it is a threat to honey bees.

I got some stuff from agway, it wiped it right out bye bye ants.

Many southerners swear by using grits, yes grits. Regular, not instant. Guess it will either kill them or make them start talking with a drawl......................................

Another old time remedy to get rid of ants is to feed them corn meal. They can't digest it. It swells up in their system and kills them off. Just buy a box and spread it all over your yard. Not too thick or you'll start growing muffins!!!

I use Amdro, it takes about a week and the mound is dead. You can buy it at Walmart, and I use it exactly by the directions. Try it, it's about 20$ for the bottle I use and it will treat a goodly number of mounds

I've got sooo many ants its ridiculous.. NOTHING works..

We just sprinkle some chewing tobacco around the mound, and the ants will carry it in. Wait for the queen to come out to spit, and then step on her.

Amdro is what it was, but it didn't seem to go very far, but it worked.
