Was there anything else on the stump behind the chainsaw?

I think it is the sun reflecting off of the handle or something else on the stump.

You can see a narrow strip of sunlight where I put the arrows in your picture.

Nope, tree had been cut down a day or two earlier.... The chainsaw and shovel were there to remove what little remained. Dig around the stump (below grade and saw what protruded) I was thinking maybe the reflector "triangle sign" was casting the light back up the hill from the rear of the tractor. But it may be something else up there. I didn't think I owned any thing that shiny though.

I am terrible about leaving the barn doors open, Next doors will be sliders for sure.

By the way the shovel never did get used as the new backhoe was up for the task. I also noticed that there is an old car parked behind the barn- maybe it reflected light somewhere? Interesting the ray of light you pointed out though

Not quite the same thing, but when I was a kid my father tried to take some family photos using a timer on the camera. On every picture my mother was kind of translucent. Not a blur as if she'd moved quickly but you could kind of see thru her. Weird.
Never happened again.
