Never seen that type of chipper. Awesome setup!

Well - down the driveway the chips are still in lengthy piles. I will, one of these day, go down and spread these piles around. Out on the property - I thin ten to twelve pine stands every spring. That means - 900 to 1200 pines. They range from 1" to 6" on the butt. I just blow the chips into large piles and that's where they are and that's where they will stay. I have no easy way of transporting all these chips anywhere. I have found no real need for them anywhere on the property.

The chips work well on the driveway in the summer. However - with the winter snows and plowing - most will end up on the berms on either side.

It was always hard enough to position the chipper, with the inlet in the right spot, never mind then positioning a trailer where it can accept the chips. Then going through all the bother to reposition everything.

Wood chips are in such little demand around here they deliver them for free. I filled a 300x100ft low area of my woods that held water for free. Some areas are 3ft deep, most are between 1 and 2ft deep.

That would be sweet.

They logged our pine forest in a pre-commercial thinning, and I was disgusted to hear it was going for colored chips!
