It's another month, hopefully things will go better.

Things seem to happen in bunches but that is an impressive string of very bad luck. Look at the bright side - next month can't be any worse and will probably be a lot better.

gg

thanks guys yep this month has to better going on vacation soon.

Heh, I know the feeling. Monday morning I got to work to find that my office had flooded over the weekend due to heavy rains that overwhelmed the roof drainage. Wednesday, somebody backed into the side of my truck and caused $3700 damage that will take 2+ weeks to fix. I am waiting for #3. I did catch a cold virus that is in full force right now, but somehow I don't think that is worthy of #3. I don't plan to go near my boat or tractor until after #3 happens or a few days go by.

well that almost made me feel better, hopefully #3 will not even happen good luck

okay got down and was looking at the L45 had to remove some stuff and found a loose connection so I tightened it up and good to go. only lost a gallon of oil but that's okay.

what should I be looking for on the B26? it was foam out the vent tube and now the oil does not even touch the dip stick. I thinking sucking air somewhere but I'm not sure never seen this before and not sure where to start. the suction side of the pump maybe?

Woody, if you are getting foamy oil and it is low, yes you probably need to check for the oil pump sucking air. Possibly a cracked pickup tube? Not sure of the exact configuration of the lube system in your engine but have seen that happen in engines before.

thanks for the reply but we are talking hydraulics right.

No sorry I miss understood. I thought you were talking about the engine. However I would still be looking for the pump sucking air - loose/cracked fitting etc.

got a call today my son went down to check on the road I worked on to see how the ditch's handle a recent storm that came through. he said the ditch's looked good but the tracks where someone took a four wheel drive up the road and parked beside his camper are deep. I knew I would have to grade it again but I wish who ever was checking it out would not have. guess it is time for a camera and or a gate.
