- 2015 John Deere 5115M, 1928 and 1945 hand start John Deere D's,
I was looking at our 1025R with an H120 Loader this winter, thinking I should make some pallet forks for the few times we would need them. We already have pallet forks for our JD 5115M for the big stuff. As I was trying to see if I could make them universal to fit on the JD quick attach and the 3pth, I realized the Global quick hitch was similar with hooks that hook over the carrier. I wondered the little tractor would pick up the big pallet forks. Ran over and soon enough the hooks are the correct distance. I just needed to fab up a way to pin the bottom on so it wouldn't flip off. Started looking at the loader brackets and there was a tab on the side a 1/2" bolt fit right in. Welded in a couple pin points on the forks, out of the way of the way the big loader attaches and all good. Just have to clean it up and paint it. Maybe a little heavy for the little tractor, but will work fine for the little use we have.
