I am no expert on finances but I am 61 and have went through some good times and some bad times. Example I was in the stock market during the 90's good times right? I was also in the car business (new car franchise) during the 1970's bad times right?
Well with that said I say this. I don't care what the media says, the government does or etc. Some folks will do good while others won't.
I will say things are getting tougher and tougher every day. I feel sorry for the young folks who don't have good money management skills. They are getting ready for a rude awakening.
I am a white guy but once or twice a week I have brerakfast in an almost totally black resturant. I am normally the only white guy in the place. I have been doing this for many years. It is kind of a breakfast club. I have made some good friends there. Many are working class while some are retired with a few who are on welfare thrown in for good measure. I was told recently by one of the men I respect most that he see soup lines in the black commiunity in the next one to two years. I go on further and say it will not just effect the black community but all communities. Job are slowing down. Wages are not keeping up with increased cost.
I am sorry but many haven't prepared for what the economy is going to do. Our dollar is weaker now that I can remember it being.
Keep those tractors you are going to need them to grow food.
Just my 2 cents.
