Glow plug health, how to tell?

/ Glow plug health, how to tell? #21
I know what you mean.. & I wasn't yelling atchya, I was just trying to simplify it for ya..
I too am 1 to talk a process to death if I haven't done it before, so I know how you feel..
When I was doing glow plugs ALOT.. I found that if I got 1 that was swelled or split on the end..
a drill was my best friend..
I would chuck up the swelled GP & spin & pull, spin & pull.. the inside of the bore acted like a saw & cut the carbon away so it could be removed..
Of course theres finese' in everything.. you have to keep the drill motor level & know how hard to pull.. things like that.. that comes with actually doing the job..
I'll bet when you actually get to it, you'll wonder why you waited so long.. its not a big deal.. good luck & don't let it keep you up at nite..
