glow plug indicator light stays on

I have a 2007 ck20shst, and when I warm up the plugs, the glow plug indicator light goes out and when I actually start the tractor the light will come back on and stay on, I need to shut the tractor off and restart a couple of times before it stays off. I don't want to keep running the tractor with the light on for fear of something burning out. Any ideas on this issue?

Do you leave it parked outside? There have been numerous problems with a corroded key switch mentioned here. Maybe check that first. After that I would try a volt meter on the relay and timer circuit to see if they are working correctly.
