Wonder what my eggs would look like if my chickens eat some of the grass that is sprayed with Glyphosate ?

you must be growing your own veggies, beef, fruit, etc, cause not much of what we eat is from here
California is a foreign nation to you? :D A high proportion of all fruits, vegetables, row crops sold in the US are grown here. Of course if you buy off-season then the source was likely Mexico etc, instead.

I watched a produce clerk re-stock a supermarket in DC and everything on his cart was from California so I commented. He replied there was nothing he wanted from California - oblivious to what he had in his hands. Ok, whatever. Have a nice day.

Most of the stuff I see here is from mexico, except for some apples we buy.
I just looked at the strawberrys she brought in yesterday. They are from your country !

We dump on the country of California because of some of your laws and residents, yet we would be pretty hungry without the food grown there.

Those checkpoints are Agricultural Inspection Stations. I've had to discard apples that I bought at Safeway before leaving California to go camping in the Nevada desert!
They are very strict about protecting California agriculture. Per CDFA:
...direct correlation between agricultural inspections and lowering invasive species infestations. One study indicates that for every dollar spent on pest prevention, $14 are saved in later control costs and economic losses.

But they wave through most of the traffic with California plates.

Here's a Yelp review review of one at the north end of the state - humorous!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I was in a small secondary city in Venezuela 40 years ago and a market had a carton of apples from my grandparents' neighbor.

In Ayn Rand's world everybody acted responsibly: unfortunate we're stuck with the world we have.
If everybody acted responsibly we would need a,lot fewer laws, but too many don't really care if they are spreading insect or disease problems.
We see that here; too many people bringing in firewood from places with serious ash borer infestations.
